I went to a IBM "something" User Group meeting tonight. That was kinda cool and way over my head, but it was nifty I was the youngest person there! Anyway it was funny there were all these people that program in RPG and Colbal. I talked to a few people and they were amazed with me. I couldn't believe it. I was like the guy with one eye:) and they actually want me to teach them about web stuff and html. (the reason this is funny is I have only worked with html for like a couple of months) but they were still interested in me talking to the members about it. It was pretty cool! Okay so Ajax is kinda the cool kid in the playground right now and to tell you the truth I don't really care for him. I played around with it a bit and hate how cluttered it makes my code then you have to have a few javascript files and either a separate CSS file or put it in your main one. I have made a couple of Flash websites and I'll tell you it's a whole lot cleaner than that kid Ajax. With Flash all the code can be embedded in the swf file and the only extra is a simple js file thats it way more simple and less cluttered. So I guess thats what I have to say for now so bye! ~trozdol
